GROM Audio GROM-IPOD adapter is a digital integration between your iPod (iPhone) and OEM car stereo system for many vehicles.
It provides direct audio interface to the car stereo via the CD changer or extension port. GROM Audio interface insures CD quality sound from iPod/iPhone to the car stereo speakers.

It allow to "fool" your stereo into thinking that fully featured CD changer is plugged in. This way you can have thousands of tracks divided into playlists or full shuffle mode if you wish.

iPod/iPhone control and operation highlights:

The playlists are mapped to the DISC buttons on the car stereo. Two modes: SIMPLE and ADVANCED

• SIMPLE MODE: The iPod stays unlocked, you control the iPod from its clicking wheel. You can also browse tracks back and forth using car stereo buttons.
• ADVANCED MODE: Disc buttons of your car stereo are mapped to the playlists that you create on the iPod. Full control from car stereo:
  - Browse tracks back and forth
  - MIX, REPEAT work as usual
  - SCAN allow to skip +-10 tracks for faster navigation
  - Playlist positions are preserved for fast operation
  - The following information is displayed: Disc #, Track #, time etc

Note: We have 2 generations of GROM adapter for iPod: GROM-IPOD V1 and GROM-IPOD V2.

GROM-IPOD V2 will play, control and charge all iPods and iPhones with dock connector.

GROM-IPOD V1 will work for all supported iPods, but it will not charge iPod and iPhones that were released after June 2008 Please use official Apple iPod/iPhone reference guide
