We are happy to announce that the iPod Female to 3.5mm AUX cable, developed by GROM Audio, now works with most iPod home systems (including Bose Soundock) and OEM/Aftermarket iPod car stereo inputs (such as VW, BMW native iPod inputs). Now you can easily convert your iPod input to the MP3 plug for any audio source. Simple and convenient!

For last a couple of months we have got a number of questions regarding a compatibility of recently launched iPod players (Nano-Chromatic and iTouch 2G) and iPhone 3G with GROM iPod adapter.
Firstly, we want to say that the GROM-IPOD adapter is fully compatible with all above mentioned players that can be easily controlled from car stereo or steering wheel control.
The only issue has not been resolved yet is a capability to charge these iPod players and iPhone 3G by car batteries through GROM iPod adapter.
Those, who are thinking on purchasing our product for further usage with latest iPod players, will enjoy next generation of GROM iPod adaptor (GROM-IPOD.V2) supporting charging any iPod player.

In addition to our announcement as of 31-July-2008, we should note that there is some delay in a launching second generation of GROM iPod adaptor capable to charge iPhone 3G. Our developers do work on this issue.
Next generation of GROM iPod adaptor (GROM-IPOD.V2) capable to charge iPhone 3G will be available for purchase at the beginning of December.

31-July-2008 On compatibility of GROMAudio iPod Stereo Adapter with iPhone 3G

Dear Visitor of the website, Due to a number of received inquiries on compatibility of GROMAudio iPod Adapter with iPhone 3G, recently introduced by Apple, we would like to clarify that they are compatible.
When iPhone 3G is connected to a car stereo system via GROMAudio Adapter it supports all functions related to music listening and ensures CD quality sound. Using our device, iPhone 3G can be controlled through car stereo buttons or steering wheel controls.
Please note: that because of a charging technology change, the iPhone 3G will not be charged by GROMAudio iPod Adapter. We are working on a solution and will have first compatible devices by end of September.
